The Shamim Kamal Adds and More Ltd sets its roadmap on “Three Steps” venture:

  • Foot hold – The Short Term Initiative: (2023 – 2025): The Golden Gate of Opportunity in African continent.
  • Foot Hold – The Short Term Initiative: (2023 – 2025): Lunching of Bangladeshi Franchisee – “Bangla Bazar” in South Sudan, initially in Juba and subsequently in other suitable and secured areas like Bor and Wau. It will expand to other neighboring countries like Uganda and Kenya etc. We also eye for Democratic Republic of Congo (CDRC), Central Africa Republic(CAR), Rwanda and Tanzania etc, in our expansion plan.
  • Approach March – The Mid Term Projects (2023 – 2026): Setting up small – cottage and low/medium investment in industries like electric products, water – beverage – bakery, soap and detergent, plastic ware, agro farm, poultry farm and solar power set up etc.
  • Industrialization and Infrastructure Development – The Long Term Venture (2026 – 2040): Establishing and production of heavy industries of construction materials like cement, steel mill, pharmaceutical industry, ship building dockyard, construction of dam and dike, setting up educational institutes like vocational institutions and nursing institutions etc.

South Sudan is our launching pad. The Managing Director Brigadier General, Md Shamim Kamal, ndu, afwc, psc, M Phil (Retd) has been working with South Sudan for couple of years and bagged notable experience on above-mentioned sectors. The company launched it’s pioneer project of Bangla Bazar in Juba in November 2023. Similar kind of franchisee will be launched in Uganda (Kampala and Entebbe) and Kenya (Nairobi) by 2024. Subsequently, the company plans to open its business in other African countries, namely, Liberia, Sierra Leon, DRC, CAR, Rwanda and Tanzania etc. where Bangladesh leaves behind a brand – image.

South Sudan

  • Assist South Sudan in agriculture and helping them to grow their own food, promote health and sanitation; and infrastructure development etc.
  • Establish “Bangladesh Economic Area” in South Sudan to promote industries and production capability of the respective countries.
  • To set up Bangladeshi francisee – “Bangla Bazar” – A Chain shop of Bangladeshi products to introduce and promote those in South Sudan.
  • To set up Bangladeshi entrepreneurship in socio – economic, cultural and educational sectors.
  • Export skilled manpower and farmers to earn remittance.
  • Periodically organize Import Fair in South Sudan (Juba) to promote Bangladeshi products with the assistance of the giant business groups of Bangladesh.

Uganda

  • To set up Bangladeshi Franchisee – “Bangla Bazar” – A Chain shop of Bangladeshi products to introduce and promote those in Uganda (Kampala and Entebbe).
  • To set up ‘Bangla – House’ – A Bangladeshi Guest House with Bangladeshi typical food and hospitality.
  • Provide tourism facilities like pick up and drop to and from Entabbe Airport, visiting Jinger (Source of Nile), Itanda fall etc and boat cruise.
  • Import timber, cotton, coffee and cashewnut etc while export jute, ceramic, RMG, motor – cycle and other Bangladeshi items of export potential.
  • Set up Agro farming and meat processing business.

Kenya

  • To set up Bangladeshi franchisee – A “Bangla Bazar” Chain shop of Bangladeshi products to introduce and promote in Kenya.
  • To set up Bangla House to facilitate guest house with Bangladeshi food.
  • Provide tourism facilities to visit Massai – Mara the world famous Safari.
  • Export RMG, jute, ceramic, motor – cycle and other potential items from Bangladesh.
